Meet Dr. Christina
Christina L. Nadel, Psy.D.
I received bachelor’s degrees in both psychology and sociology from Wellesley College. I went on to earn my master’s and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from The California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University, an institution accredited by the American Psychological Association. I completed various clinical practicums during graduate school and worked in an elementary school, a substance use disorder clinic, and multiple community mental health clinics where I worked with children, adolescents, and adults. I completed an APA-accredited internship with the San Bernardino Department of Behavioral Health. I am currently a professional member of the Los Angeles County Psychological Association.
My approach to therapy is person-centered, empathic, and nonjudgemental. I enjoy working alongside clients at a pace set by them. My approach is collaborative in nature and I enjoy working with clients to create a treatment plan to meet each client’s unique and individual needs. I utilize a holistic framework to assess multiple areas of one’s functioning in order to maximize the benefits of therapy.
I am a Latinx psychologist (she/her) who enjoys working with clients of all cultures and backgrounds. I am LGBTQIA+ allied. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking, going to the beach, and running. My last name is pronounced “Nay-dell”.
